That was my first. I got it in 1966 when I got my drivers license. Dad bought it for me. I was a flower child, flowers in my hair, and long dresses. So I went to the hardware store and got the flowers you stick on the bottom of a tub, and stuck them on my car. Can't say I really loved that car. My favorite was my first new car in 1977. A TriumphTR7. Russ and I went to Florida in it, and coming back he fell asleep and I drove up through the mountains at 100 miles an hour, listening to Bob Seger and Hollywood Nights. Thanks for some great memories, Sharon! |

POLLY!!! You don't drive in the mountains at 100 mph! Good grief! Whew boy! I'm sure glad we didn't meet head on, me coming down and you going up. Yep about the flower child. Something about that 1964 Mustang of mine...and beads. Lots and lots of beads hanging from the r/v mirror. Thanks Polly. |

I don't think I met another car all night Sharon. Russ woke up and asked where we were, and I told him and he just looked at me like I was nuts. |
