(We lost a very good friend today, August 20, 2013. Two years ago we published this article, an interview with Cherie. We knew her as Cece and she charmed us all with her humor, her gardens, and her down-to-earth but uplifting attitude. I thought it appropriate that we read her words again, just as Nap presented them to us those years ago. Rest in Peace, Cece, you always left us with a smile and we will long remember you. ~ Sharon)
From Nap in 2011:
When I wrote requesting an interview with her, Cece told me, "I just never saw my life as ever being anything but ordinary. What's the word I want .... Mundane." She took just a little coaxing before I convinced her she would make a good interview. Ladies and gentlemen, please meet Cherie Coogan....
I have my own cubits and met Cherie through them although we live thousands of miles apart and she is not mundane at all, far from it. I asked to her become Admin on my cubits which after a bit of coaxing she accepted, she has been a friend and a constant help to me, and after a bit more coaxing she even wrote her own Article! We have had many laughs together via cubits, e=mail and on skype.
She is adorable and when you get to know her you do realize how kind and caring she really is. I am proud to know Cherie and look forward to her funny posts and the things she sends me.
Cherie I wish you could get over here and let me show you around our English gardens and pubs!
It is really wonderful that nap has put you on here for you so deserve it.

Cherie, it's so nice to read your story. Remember I live close to the other Stein's (your favorite) and a sweet little private garden center too! Even though you will likely be hard on my budget....next summer we really MUST get together....I'll bet I could even dig up some suitable music and treats for the patio here...unless you're off to Neil's pub!

Thanks Nancy for yet another good Spotlight!

Great article! I love to read stories about others, so sorry you had to go through what you did after your accident and your abusive EX! Looks like you are both very happy together!

Oh I read up further..................... NO you do NOT want to see me in a tight fiitting anything and balance bar? Forget it. My depth perception is next to nothing since the car accident I had. I fall off step stools. SINGLE step. I've fallen off curbs, gopher holes, basement stairs................. I am very careful and watchful of where I walk. Ingrained into me now. But oh................ the bruises and sore joints and places before I learned to watch out..............
