| You know Nap, the car accident I had???? I was NOT wearing a seat belt and was told by a Doctor that that fact is probably what SAVED my life. Had I had it on, it wouldn't have allowed me to be thrown to the side and out of the other vehicles path, I was hit from behind first off by a dump truck at 50 mph, shoved me into the other lane and a Suburban truck hit me again.................... Had I had on the seat belt on the Doc said I would have probably got done in by the Suburban. What can I say? the faster I go, the behinder I get |

| A good thing Cece. Nancy's right though. This discussion got waaayyy off track because it really was about whether our personal lives should be so heavily legislated and the waste of money spent doing it, and ultimately WHO does it and whether they should have such a right. Everyone gets upset when the laws 'hit them upside the head' but pay no attention to (or even support) laws that do that to others. Simply, unless we are hurting another, we should not be subject to (or pay for) this kind of action by government. | debndi neve wore them when we drove until our son frank insisted that if he got in the car with us we had to wear them and we did. our son chris still refuses to strap in and i constantly remind him that he has a baby girl at ome and she needs her daddy but he still refuses to wear one. | I only got my Mac computer back from being totally redone this afternoon. Then I saw the terrible news, which left me devastated. Oh Cherie we loved you so much, there are no more tears left in me, I am heartbroken. Our love goes to ED and all her wonderful family; to her granddaughter she so adored and I met on Skype, God bless. You will be in peace now, and we will remember you. From Neil & Sarah our family and of course Phoenix. Neil.    |
