... and had a blast! He went to a little charter school for kids who wanted to be engineers. It was a very small program that met in a HUGE high school here in Houston. At his 20th reunion there were probably 6 guys from the engineering program, and 125 people from the rest of the class, and we had a great time. They had an informal get-together at a bar/arcade place on Friday night, a semi-formal dinner/dance on Saturday night, and a family potluck at a park on Sunday afternoon. The people were extremely friendly and fun, and we hope they have another one! I thought it was hilarious that people kept coming up to me and saying "I remember you!!" when I lived in Ohio at the time.
I haven't been to any of mine. I was shy, too, and poor and poorly dressed, and so mostly ignored. My class had their 25th reunion this year, but I didn't go back to Ohio for it. If I thought they were going to be as fun as Charles' class, I would have thought a little harder about it, though!
