Image Spotlight: Vicki (Ves) and Ty
By Brenda Essig on January 16, 2012

I am delighted to introduce two very special personalities who share their lives with obvious love for each other. It is the love many of us share with the pets that become very special members of our families as they weave their magic into our lives. This week I put the Spotlight on Vicki and her special family member, Ty.

Hi Vicky, We have crossed paths here before, and I remember comparing our dogs pictures. Ty looks so much like my Beautiful Maggie Mae, and I see in his baby picture here, they were very close in looks at that stage too. I am on the same page with you about dogs being a big part of the family. I didn't have any human kids, so I baby talk the pets. They so respond to it and they see us as a "pack". We all understand each others emotions, and our comunications are understood, even with the language barrier. The body language and tone of voice tells it all. Thanks so much for sharing your story with us!

Hi Diana. Gosh I remember doing that and she is a beautiful girl. I plan on never being without a pet. Don't know what I would do without one. Was glad to share!

To Vicki from Vicki Big Grin

It is so nice to meet you and thank you for sharing your story with us.

40 acres is wonderful and your sweet little doggie is just precious. I'm a pet lover too Lovey dubby

You got married on our daughters birthday even though she wasn't born until 1977.

I hope your retirement comes sooner than later!

Thanks again!

The 40 acres is wonderful! DH is working out there right now bulldozing the brush west of the pond. Don't know if I like it but hope to talk him into planting some trees that like wet roots or is it moist ground?

Our son was born in 1977. He is a couple of months older than your daughter. Thumbs up

Retirement all depends on how long I can physically keep up with the job. So far so good.

Weeping willows like their roots a bit moist....I have seen them growing right next to the bank of a pond or stream.

Its good meeting you Vickie and your hubby and of course Ty.

Thought of weeping willows but DH hates them. We will see what I can do. Also thought of river birch and I think there is a river oak?

Dorothy thanks for the info. Makes me want to get a couple even more. We do have oaks here but will have to ask DH what kind they are. Probably white Oaks.

I love the spreading oaks...I am from California and the ancient oaks that grow there are so majestic.
