"Inner child" to me means that sense of wonder, of curiosity and learning, and the ability to find joy in the smaller, less important things in life. Having a two-year-old in my life now, I have rediscovered my own inner child and I'm having a lot of fun with her! That little boy is teaching me things I had forgotten.

The quote immediately reminded me of a friend's son's father who has nothing to do with his child. The man is missing out on life's greatest treasure, and the boy really needs a Dad. Sad.
