Sometimes all it takes is a word or two.

This one could be interpreted two ways. First, that the great man never loses his inner child and second, that he hold onto the heart of his child.

Both interpretations are very true.

I was just thinking the same thing. When does this happen? While we sleep? Overnight? It seems so, doesn't it? He's still a beautiful boy, Sharon.

"Inner child" to me means that sense of wonder, of curiosity and learning, and the ability to find joy in the smaller, less important things in life. Having a two-year-old in my life now, I have rediscovered my own inner child and I'm having a lot of fun with her! That little boy is teaching me things I had forgotten.

That's my take on it. Great thought for the day!

My first inclination was to say "thank you," but then I remembered that I had nothing to do with it.... Hilarious!

I will tell his parents you think he's adorable. (And he definitely is. It's so easy to make him smile like that.)

Awww! Beautiful children!
The quote immediately reminded me of a friend's son's father who has nothing to do with his child. The man is missing out on life's greatest treasure, and the boy really needs a Dad. Sad.

Very sad. Hopefully that isn't the norm for most dads and sons.
