Especially when dealing with children!!! I try so hard to never break a promise to a child. Most times I will tell them I will do my best for them. To me, that is how they learn to trust....

Coneflowers and spurge (euphorbia)?? They grow well together, but I have to keep the spurge from taking over. And the vinca vine that's also near by. Pretty though, all that contrasting foliage texture.

Renee, we called the euphorbia 'Graveyard Moss' because in the mountains it was always planted around cemeteries to keep the hillsides from sliding or eroding.

Kinda like cedar trees in cemeteries because they contained the souls of the Cherokee ancestors.

Problem. What if what you promised was a good plan at the time, but months later, when the promise is due, you see problems with it that would cause it to be a big mistake? And what if the person you made the promise to is an adult who refuses to see the problem?. Only remembers the promise.
