We teach them so many things without even knowing it as well. I can't tell you the number of times our children have said they do things this way or that because they watched us or learned from us when we didn't even realize we were teaching. That works for each generation as well. I was making hills in the soil the other day for cucumbers and zucchini and dd asked why. Because my dad did. Even little things like that. Ethan sure has a good start in life!!! I am one of those people who firmly believes that a parents job is to make our children as independent as possible. I have been successful with my own and now see those traits beginning to emerge with our grandchildren. It truly makes me proud and as I get older, I am satified with the job I did. Not bragging mind you - just proud of them..... |

We do our best Barb and and as the days go by, I see my children and grandchildren being good parents and it makes me so proud. |

And we are all the lucky ones when we see that in our children and our grandchildren. It's OK to be proud, no doubt we earned it. |
