Quoting:Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in
harmony.
-- Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (1869-1948) Indian Nationalist
These quotes always send my mind into a swirl of thoughts.
This one reminds me to think before I speak, or act, and to be sure that what I think is correct and worth saying or doing. I am afraid I fail in this more often than I want to admit, even to myself.
The photograph is lovely. I like the thumbnail version too. The dog seems to appreciate the blossom too.
Charlie, I often think things that should not be thought...but hopefully, I stop myself from saying or doing them.
Following this quote literally, If I did say and do what I thought, I would be happy...and maybe I would be...but those around me might not be happy with me would my happiness remain if I hurt them in the process?
Great words, and great photo--I enjoy seeing the photos side by side on the home page, the one on the left with just the iris and the one on the right with Sunshine sniffing the iris! Cute!
I do my best to live by my beliefs every day. It really does help give one inner peace.
Maybe so about the blue. I just find it to be a 'feel good' color, especially outside. Don't you? My Mom told me that the first time she ever gave me a box of Crayola crayons, I grabbed the blue. Of course back that long ago Crayola didn't have multiple shades of blue in a box; that came along much later. Yes, I do love blue.
