Be yourself, you can be no one else
Bodies and minds all need this sort of relaxation, especially in our busy, noisy world.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

I resist resting, but that makes it all the sweeter when I decide to give in to it.

Except I usually fall asleep. Hilarious!

That's the sort of afternoon I had yesterday... sitting with a couple of friends on their front porch, watching a light rain fall on their front garden, talking about this & that or just enjoying the moment.

Nope, Jon, I disagree. I think we function much better if we take a minute to stop and smell the roses. Makes that work that we love so much just that much better, too.

I love painting, but I love painting more when I've taken a break from it.

Same with teaching. I loved it, but loved it more after a short holiday.

Did better after the breaks, too. Smiling
