I can't tell you how many times we've said to each other in the past couple weeks "where in the world does time go" or "wasn't that just a couple years ago" - it was really like 30 years ago Whistling Things we wish we had known when we were younger, eh? Beautiful painting Sharon Thumbs up

Thanks Vic and yes, exactly like that.
It would be nice if our children realized that, took us awhile, though, didn't it?

Where summer is winter
It really does. Time is relentless. One thing you can count on is that time will pass.

What is the speed of time? Seems to me that it's infinitely variable, as a child I remember birthdays, Christmas, summer holiday seemed to take forever to come.
Time definitely speeds up as we age. It slows when we are ill or just plain bored or perhaps incarcerated Rolling on the floor laughing I think a good measure of time is the difference between ones state of mind, occupied = fast, bored = slow. Big Grin
Fortune favors the brave.
Tickling is no laughing matter.

You have it right Jon. Time runs to fast for some things and way too slow for others. Seems lately as life time gets shorter and shorter I find myself saying I wish I had more time to do this or that.

Time is a constant that is always working on the body everyday.

Sharon... what an awesome picture. Makes you wish you could be sitting right there in that chair and just spend some quiet time in reflection.

About the painting, Star . . . I could call it 'Peaceful Places in my Mind'.
The Sun for warmth, the Trees for shelter, the Chair for rest. Smiling

Thanks.
