I have so much love in me and I consider myself as one of the beautiful people from the late 60's.Hippy you may call me, proud to wear that badge. Love IS all you need.
Actually I was talking about Sharon whom I have known for a long time but if the shoe fits you Jon, please wear it. I kind of misplaced my comment there because of Jon's post being above mine. Sorry. Jon, I feel sure you fit the description also but since i have just met you I will just assume so.
Elena, goodness. I don't know what to say.
I don't deserve that but thank you for saying so anyway. And if it is anywhere near the truth, it applies to my friends as well.
Jon, you are a sweetheart and you are right, so were the Beatles. "Love is all we need."
Just telling things like I see em Sharon. You have indeed stood the test of time with me my friend. Your are one of the kindest, most considerate caring people I have ever met. I could use a lot of other flowery adjectives but that would go on all day if I did. Love you my special friend.....
Nice to know you Jon. Maybe I haven't been paying attention but I find that I don't know a thing about you. Please tell us some things about yourself if you don't mind so we can know you better. Are you male or female? Are you from Japan or are you living there for business or other reasons? What age group do you fall under? You mentioned the late 60's. How old were you then? My two daughters were born in 1956 and 1957 so were almost teenagers then and perhaps you were also. Are you a gardener.?...and on and on.
Here comes Jon's profile Born in the UK 1948 Making me 67 as of now. Oh I'm a male by the way, I am married to a Japanese female who is 30 years my junior. After marrying her in the UK in 2006 we came to live in Japan, we now have been blessed with two beautiful sons aged 8 and 6. My main interests are, extreme DIY, playing guitar, my family and gardening.
That's boring ole Jon for you
And Jon is anything but boring. He writes his own songs and music and his boys are the most handsome children ever! He's also a great gardener and was stoic and strong throughout the horrible tsunami in I think 2011. We were all scared so much for him and his family, but he was the strong one. I have a great deal of admiration for him. Through it all, Jon's humor as well as his faith stay strong, too.
Jon, sounds like you live a fascinating life. You don't sound boring in the least bit. Do you have pictures of your family and your garden? If so, I would love to see them.
I will dig out some shots of the garden as of around 4 years ago, I have not grown anything since the Fukushima nuclear meltdown as the soil is contaminated. I don't nowdays post photos of my family on the internet, I'm quite sure you'll understand the reasons for that.
That is ok Jon. Sorry for the loss of good soil. I know that must be heartbreaking. Of course I understand your not posting photos of your family. It is not a good idea to do so other than in a private forum. Too many folks out there aren't to be trusted. You sound very wise to me.
