I just heard the news about you. You left this world yesterday and I didn't have a chance to say goodbye. I am sorry for that, but I am comforted to know that your passing was rather sudden so that you had little or no pain. I'm also comforted to know that before you left, you shared a positive thought with our friend Vic. You texted her that "God's got this." Indeed, He does.
You know, you are the mainstay of Cubits. Week after week, your cubit has been the most read, or at least in the top three. When there was good news to share, your chat thread carried it to the world. When anyone had a problem, they turned to you. You always had a listening ear and wise advice. We all respected you and valued your opinion.
How is it that you made every one of us feeling like we were your best friend? What a special talent you had for making and keeping friends.
I really don't know what will happen next. Will the Blue Gardens cubit remain? Will your weekly quotes continue? We can all try to keep things going, but for such a little lady you had some pretty big shoes to fill. It just won't be the same around here without you, sweetie. I love you.
Now would be a good time to re-post your Spotlight interview. I think we'd all like the chance to spend a few minutes feeling close to you today. So here it is.
I'll see you again someday, dear friend.
I don't come to Cubits much any more, but always enjoyed Sharon's stories. She was an amazing artist, writer and story teller. She also was so kind and thoughtful in her postings to newbies (like me). I was always hoping Sharon would publish her book.....
I will miss her kindness and wonderful presence here and on other websites. Keeping Sharon's family in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Sharon.
You know, I've thought about her book too. I hope it will still be published. In a Cmail too me a few years ago, she mentioned she had a book at the publishers. I forgot about that until I began rereading my old Cmail correspondences after she died. I never heard any more about it.
