I never thought about it before, but it's true. Love, prayer and forgiveness. They each have power. Mostly, I think, they each have the power to change lives. My own, and others. |

I agree. The hardest for me is forgiving. I have no problem forgiving if someone is sincerely wanting forgiveness. It is hard for me to forgive someone that does not feel any remorse. In the end, I realize that by holding on to the hurt and anger, I am the one that suffers. I have to forgive and move on or it will consume me while they are oblivious. |

Yet our faith says we must forgive others, even as we have been forgiven. A difficult thing to do because we are human, and as such we have egos. Getting past the ego, the self, is not easy. Many times I've had to forgive someone who has not asked for it. You know my current situation, Brenda. It took a while, but I have forgiven her for what she's done. That's not to say we will be friends again, but at least my heart is clean, not bitter. |

I love this quote - and it's so true. Forgiveness is hard but it's harder to hold on to the anger, frustration, etc., I actually studied the word forgiveness for a long time. It helped. ![]() NATIONAL GARDENING ASSOCIATION Purslane & Portulaca ~ Garden Art |
