| Which of your loves did you think of first when you read this? My heart leapt straightaway to the 10 year old sleeping upstairs! Part child, part tween, part wise soul, driving me to frustration one moment and melting my heart the next... those who followed my journey to motherhood know how our adopting Joyanna just had "meant to be" written all over it. Reading the last line again, I also remember dancing around my tiny Chicago apartment with a striped ball of fluff, saying, oh I've waited so long for you! Blake was my heart-kitty. I wish he'd been given a few extra years so Joyanna could have known him. He would have adored her. Circles of Support for Breast Cancer I'm learning to dance in the rain! | I do know the story of your precious girl Joyanna. It gave me goosebumps to think that the words to this song should so clearly represent your feelings for her. It's beautiful! Thank you for sharing, Jill. The first time I heard this song I was blown away by the idea of it. I had someone like that once. We should all be so blessed. |
