I cannot accept matter expanding into nothing that is something. That is the big bang theory that attempts to discredit the creation by God, and fails., but I still find no problem wearing stripes with plaid. Though to be honest, I prefer stripes with floral.

How about florals with plaids? Just wondering . . . . To me florals are a non-starter. So are plaids. So are stripes, actually. And as for the Big Bang? Rubbish. How could I ever have believed that, but I did. It doesn't matter. I still like old Albert anyway.

Yes, florals with plaids can be cute too. For me it is a question of color similarity and pattern sizes. I can wear them together or even better, decorate with them.

Quilts look great with all of the above, sometimes mixed. The old color/pattern rules were silly. I was told not to wear green with blue because they clashed. Nobody told God he couldn't put blue flowers on a plant with green leaves.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

So very true. I cannot think of any color combination that God omitted in creation.

And don't we all marvel at the beautiful pink and orange sunrise and sunset colors?

One of my favorite fashion "rules" was redheads should never wear pink or red but should wear greens instead. My redheaded cousin wore a lot of reds and pinks and she looked fantastic. She would not wear a lot of greens except in December, because "it makes me feel like a Christmas tree in July".
