| Thanks for the confirmation, Renee. Some people do have a distorted idea of what living well means. Instant, self-serving gratification. Sadly, that's temporary happiness that can be taken away or lost. But the ideas behind Emerson's quote are gratifying and purposeful and inwardly rewarding. I have found that to be true in my own life. I'll bet you have too.  |
