| The storms are terrible, makes you really appreciate warm and sunny days. When sevral of us here were without heat, it may be 35F outside, warmer than in our trailers. We would get coffee snacks and milk crates and go sit in little sunny sections of the yard together to warm up. We' talk about how we would plan and amend gardens for following year, talk about wishes for fixing yards up nice and such. Somehow with all the talk and shared company, we wouldn't feel the cold. We'd watch the sun start warming the earth, notice all the birds and critters out and about and really see the trees and how majestic they are with just their branches and no leaves. Next thing you know it would be warm enough to start moving about the yard. Kinda hated when spring did come, because than everybody was so busy in their yards and coffee time disappeared.
