|Dear Sally, loved the story and thanks to my friend Sharon for giving us a chance to meet you! I too have surprised Sharon with her stories on the Kentucky Hills and the plants, for I live in England!
In the UK it is now common for a woman to do jobs that were considered to be a mans job. In fact it is the law here anyway, with a few exceptions of course!
I met a lovely girl at University and she got a Degree in Garden Design. However she could not get any work and so with her knowledge and a bit more training became a Quantity Surveyor on a building site!
She now has her own Business, and is very busy all the time!
Our Regimental Motto was "Surrender Is Not An Option." Sounds like it was yours as well.
I leave you with some Cypripedium kentuckiense or the Kentucky Lady's Slipper Orchid, pictures are from England.
