My mom paid $42,000 for her house... 51 yrs later sold for $1,290,000 Gas was about $.27 a gallon.... 2011 $3.40 in AZ Berkshire Hathaway (Warren Buffett) class A stock $19 - last Friday $107,800 a share VW Bug 1965 new - $1900 - today used about $27,000 in great condition (eBay) ...
