| Was my first car. This would have been around 1968 and it was used but I don't remember the year. It was a 2 seater convertible but a hard top and you lifted it off. Mr. Beatty, 9th grade science teacher, had a 1964 mustang, metallic blue and yeah, he was totally cool because of his car!  I got to drive a 64 mustang around 1966. It was a 4 speed and I thought I was "IT"  It almost got away from me too! It was FAST!!!!All the Chevy Impalas were cool cars!
