| Merry Christmas Sharon. During this busy time of year you have made me stop and think about the tiny, treasured things in life. Such a wonderful Christmas gift you have given me. Here is one of my tiny memory treasures. My dad sent these to my mom for Christmas while he was in Europe in 1944, far from everything he loved most. These represent his two little daughters safe at home with his beloved wife. Both mom and dad are gone now, but these two tiny carved soap stone figures remind me of the love my dad had for his family.  Thank you for making me stop and remember. |
