tamed I do the same thing -- check the current page. But this group can get very active -- using up a couple of pages every day. So if we're near the top of a page, or if the previous page is the same day, then I go back and check the previous page as well. Every day is a second chance. Every day is precious time. Well -- I've gone back and checked. We make anywhere from three to eleven posts per day here. I was wrong about using up a couple of pages every day, when we're very active -- but we frequently spill over from one page to the next on any given day. So we could make a general rule to check the current page and the previous page? Or we could make a rule to check a minimum of ten posts? Or we could make a rule to check *today* and *yesterday*? Any thoughts? Christine -- I've never seen the Cubit-owner here either. That's odd, isn't it? But I guess it means we can make our own rules!! I think going back 10 posts sounds reasonable since we add and remove letters and it is not likely to be able to make the same word again after that many changes. Also, if you go into your preference page you can change the number of posts per page. Mine is set to the highest number, so I am only on page 4 with 1,810 posts on this thread. melts Mary, You're right; I forgot about the page thing. We might all have different settings. 10 or so posts does seem reasonable. At the least, take a look back at what has been most recently used.
