Preparation
Microwave Acorn Squash on high for 6 minutes, cut side down. Melt butter with molasses, honey, extracts, spices, flavorings in a small bowl in microwave or in double boiler on stovetop. Place Acorn Squash in baking dish with cut side up. Drizzle butter spice mixture all over squash, allowing it to pool in center of squash. Crumble pecans all over squash. Sprinkle sage on top. Bake at 350 F for about 20-30 minutes until fork easily passes through squash. Can drizzle extra butter onto squash if desired. Eat peeling and all! Can serve with whip cream in center.
