Recipe Title: My Peanut Butter Fudge

It's just your standard Marshmallow fudge recipe...as it was years ago...but lately I couldn't understand why my PNB fudge didn't harden enough....then it came to me! The new packages of PNB chips have only 10 oz in them instead of the older version which had 12oz...so I started to add 2 more oz of chips and it comes out just right. :hurray

List of Ingredients
3/4 c (1-1/2 stick BUTTER (or margarine if you must)

3 c SUGAR

2/3 c EVAPORATED MILK (not sweetened) small can

12 oz PNB CHIPS...or CHOCOLATE CHIPS

1 jar (7 oz) MARSHMALLOW CREME

1 tsp VANILLA

1 c NUTS optional

Preparation
Lightly grease a 9 X 13 dish. Mix BUTTER, SUGAR, and MILK in a heavy sauce pan. Bring to a rolling boil lower to medium heat...stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Boil for 5 minutes, or until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees* Remove from heat and stir in CHIPS...and NUTS if desired...mix well...then add the MARSHMALLOW CREME and VANILLA. Pour into prepared dish and let cool....cut into squares.

*HIGH ALTITUDE: decrease recommended temperature 2 degrees for every 1,000 ft above sea level.
