I think this was an old family recipe cause it was hand written on a sheet of paper that has really seen it's days. Found it in my grandmother's cookbook.

List of Ingredients
1 head cabbage
1 Tablespoon bacon drippings
2 Tablespoons butter
2 eggs
1 cup cream (sweet) |
Preparation
Chop 1 head cabbage fine.
Put 1 Tablespoon bacon drippings with 2 Tablespoons butter in pan with lid.
Simmer until tender, very slowly.
Beat 2 eggs with 1 cup cream (sweet)
Pour over cabbage
Take off fire and set aside to finish cooking egg and milk
