| Recipe that I had received from my late aunt several years ago and seems to be the families favorite |
List of Ingredients
4 Tbsp. mounded mayonnaise
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup pickle vinegar; (vinegar from Bread & Butter pickles)
1/3 cup milk or less
1 heaping tsp. horseradish mustard; have also used spicy brown mustard in place of horseradish mustard |
Preparation
In large bowl mix above ingredients real good
Add 2 -3 pinches parsley; chopped fine
I must say, I haven't used this on lettuce salad, only on cole slaw.
If using on slaw, it's best to mix ingredients, adding your slaw and leaving set overnight in refrigerator .
I put in bowl with tight fitting lid and stored upside down in refrigerator.
When ready to serve, turn upright and stir. | Cookbook Category
