List of Ingredients
|Preheat oven to 325 degrees . Grease and flour one regular loaf pan or 4 small loaf pans.|
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups flour
Mix dry ingredients together and set aside.
1 cup butter, at room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons chopped pineapple sage leaves ( use small, new leaves)
3 tablespoons coarsely chopped pineapple sage flowers, if available
1 teaspoon grated lemon, rind of
4 tablespoons well drained crushed pineapple
|Preheat oven to 325 degrees . Grease and flour one regular loaf pan or 4 small loaf pans. |
Cream the sugar and butter until fluffy. Add honey and beat in well. Incorporate eggs one at a time; beat about a minute after adding each.
Add the sage leaves and flowers, lemon peel, and pineapple.
Fold the mixed dry ingredients into the butter mixture, mixing until just blended
Pour into pans and bake until golden brown (wooden pick inserted into center will come out clean). Approximately 45 minutes for small loaf pans. A single loaf will take slightly longer. Test with cake tester.
Cool pans on rack for 10 minutes, Remove from pans and let loaves cool.
