Recipe Title: Hot, spicy crackers

Contributed by: Louise M.

Note from the Diva
These crackers are so good that you can't eat just one! More addicting than potato chips. Easy to make and are the biggest hit of the finger food table.

List of Ingredients
1 one-pound box of saltine crackers (I prefer the unsalted top variety)
1 1/4 cup canola oil (or any cooking oil)
1 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 package of dry Hidden Valley dressing mix

Preparation
Empty the crackers into a gallon jug (with a tight fitting lid).
In a small bowl, combine the oil, dry dressing mix and the ground red pepper. Mix well.
Pour over the crackers in the jug. Place lid very securely on jug.
Turn the jug for 15 minutes, or so, until the oil is distributed through out the crackers. It can set a while and then be turned a bit more.
They are then ready to eat and are better the second day.

Cooking Time & Temperature
No cooking required

Number of Servings: Only a few, if the crowd is greedy! A dozen or so if they are well-mannered!
