List of Ingredients
6 oz. frozen (thawed) or fresh cheese tortellini,
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup chopped onion
1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes in puree
1 large carrot, peeled and sliced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cups chicken broth
1 to 2 cups cooked turkey, chopped |
Preparation
Prepare pasta according to package directions.
Melt butter in 3 quart saucepan. Add onion and cook until onion is transparent, stirring frequently. Stir in tomatoes, carrots, basil, sugar, pepper, salt and broth. Heat to boiling; stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat and simmer covered for 10 minutes. Stir in tortellini and turkey.
Cook to heat thoroughly; Serve. |
