Today's recipe is one I've had since I graduated high school. When we graduated and took Home Economics we were given Fleischman's Yeast's bread cookbook as a gift from the teacher.

Ham And Swiss Loaf

I don't make it as given in the recipe though. You knew that already didn't you?

I substitute cheddar, pepper jack, velveeta, or mexican blend cheese for the Swiss
I leave out olives and pimentos as DH doesn't like them.
I've also substitued tuna fish for the ham, added sweet bell pepper, onions and tomatoes with good results. The tuna substitute was DH's idea and came out better than he expected. I've also made a breakfast one with eggs, bacon and left out the mustard in the dough because I don't like mustard in any form. Would have worked well if I also liked cheese to hold it all together (I couldn't think of a substitute for the cheese that I liked) but it was good anyway just a little messy.
So use your imagination and make it your way it will probably come out pretty good.

Enjoy
