Anyone making any Irish food tomorrow? I think I'm going to make up some sort of Guinness stew. We had corned beef at a party last weekend. We also had fabulous Irish whiskeys!

My sister says the best brand of corned beef is Shenson. She boils it for 4 or 5 hours. I've never made it personally. I don't often like it, but I did like the stuff at the party last weekend. Maybe it's the cabbage I don't like!

I love making stews in the SO. Super easy and you can leave them in there forever. I have to work from 6:30 - 9:30, so I'll have some before I leave for work, put it back into the WO while I'm gone, and then have some more when I get back maybe. Yup, I love my Aga!
