Has anyone been to an Aga 'demo'? If not, I highly recommend one!!! I went to one put on by the distributor in my area, which is Luwa down in Tuckwilla. They have a 'live' Aga (meaning it's turned on instead of just sitting on the floor cold and heartless), and periodically they'll do a demo for interested people. The demo I went to was free, but you had to sign up. And they fill up fast!

We sat around a long table facing the Aga and their cook demonstrated breakfast items, lunch items, and dinner items. We all got to eat everything that was made. There were salespeople on hand to answer questions. So basically we watched the demos, ate, asked questions, and had a wonderful time. It's really informative for anyone who's on the edge and can't decide.

If any dealer or store in your area does these, you should go!

Hi, Gwen. I've been many times to Aga Thyme in Charlotte. It's not only an Aga store, but they do classes and demonstrations as well. I've so enjoyed the classes I've attended. The last two were taught by a lady from England--I don't remember her name--and I missed them both! :o( We had an ice storm the day before the first one and I couldn't even get out of my driveway, much less drive an hour and a half. The last one was during a family reunion that I couldn't miss. I'm hoping there will be more soon.
