Well, the series is over and the better team did win. I'm happy with what the Mets did this year. Will be interesting to see which players stay and which go. I was rooting for Harvey to pitch the 9th inning but I was wrong
I didn't think Joe Buck was rotting for the Mets. I never liked him as an announcer.
Beautiful Souls like Frank leave lasting memories in the hearts of those he touched .
Better luck next year, Frank. With that pitching staff, the Mets will go far again. (BTW, Joe Buck has a 'man crush' on the Mets' starting pitchers and there's no reason why he shouldn't.) I don't think they should have taken Harvey out in the 9th either. The Royals couldn't hit him but they could hit Familia. They had done it before a couple times.
We've been watching the World Series since 2002 and every year it seems like Joe Buck favors the team that we want to lose. It's probably just our imagination. When he gets all excited about the team that we want to lose, I say, 'Aren't you happy, Joe Buck?' It has become part of our 'folklore'. Whenever any announcer seems to favor the team we don't like, I say, 'Aren't you happy, Joe Buck?'
