London's East End to New Zealand, or What a Small World By Carol on March 16, 2010 Two branches of my family had lived and worked in the same part of London for years, literally streets apart, but never met. They both emigrated in 1874, on separate ships, and set up homes in different parts of New Zealand before finally meeting and uniting on the opposite side of the world. |
