|I so enjoyed your article. As a young man in east Texas, my grandfather grew and sold peaches, watermelons, and sweet potatoes at the farmers market. His sweet potatoes became so popular in the late 1800's that word spread and people from all over started writing him for starts. He actually started filling orders and did so for a number of years. Your article drummed up those old memories so thanks!|
