|Great review, Larry.
Particle physics generally: fascinating, but unsettling.
The mathematical models predict and the (experimental) observations confirm.
But science is traditionally said to start with observation.
Forgot! Also love the Coreopsis.
|Thanks, Charlie. These articles help me to clarify my own understanding as well.
Love this coreopsis series, too. I've been a bit hesitant to sample any of its members. My past experience has been that even though a coreopsis variety is said to be hardy in zone 5 (our zone here in Iowa), I haven't had much luck. The only coreopsis varieties that succeed in our gardens are those hardy to zone 4.

As a gardener: When planning for a year, I plant corn. When planning for decades, I plant trees. When planning for life, I train and educate people.
