Hi, So glad to have found this forum! Smiling
Last year I kind of adopted a poorly treated Begonia I purchased from a flower market. Most of its leaves were torn or scorched and it only had one flower, but so gorgeous I succumbed! I felt it had potentials!
It slowly started to recover after some intensive care, but only this year it showed its full glory.
I searched for hours on the web to find its ID, alas to no avail.
It probably is tubereous as it went dormant during winter, I had kept it inside in a cool room in winter keeping the pot on the dry side..

The leaves are big especilly the basal ones, up to 25cm I think, they are hairy, so not glossy..
the flower is single as I have a preference for single flowers, I like to see the heart of a flower..they are very big when fully open with a diameter of over 10 cm (nearly 4,5 inch)

I would really love to have a name for it.. Smiling
