They have arrived. Move the cars and trucks out of the barns, cover the mowers and other small equipment. Poop time. They will have two clutches of babies before they move on. That should be about the end of August or later, depending on the weather. What a mess. No matter what we do, like hand owls, balloons, etc. they still invade us every year. No, we will not put up nets or anything that will harm them. I will just continue to clean up the poop when they are gone. LOL Have a good day. |

One year later, same time, THE POOPERS ARE BACK. I think they are adorable and very pretty. They are little demons with the cats. Poor barncats are just laying around minding their own business and these little buys come swooping down and pecking at them. Every once in awhile the cats will just put up a paw and catch one. Amazing to watch how fast both are. I just wish I could diaper them. ![]() |
