Vic, I don't usually have high b/p either, but I think it was stress of the moment because I'd just been weighed when the doctor walked in and he wasn't extremely happy about those 3 pounds. Then they took my b/p. So I'll blame the 3 pounds for the b/p leap. You know how when you really want to rant and you hold it back? It was like that.

Good for you Lucy, everything's working now!!

This day can't decide if it wants white clouds, gray clouds or blue skies. It's gone through all 3 in the last few minutes and I can see about 14 snowflakes bouncing around out there.

I thought that after I posted about the Hawthorne. It's not unusual to have elevated bp in the doctor's office. Thumbs down

Off and on clouds and sun here today. We'll be cooler as the week goes on.

Off to run errands after bit and haircut at 3. Will pick supper up on the way home. If I'm in town at that hour, no need to cook.

Internet connection is wonky today Crying

Just popping in quick to wave Hurray! at everybody. Busy as all get out trying to get these piggy boxes ready to roll as soon as the last two come in.

Sharon, glad things went well at doc's. Want to gain weight. Here's what ya do.

Eat all the sweet sticky buns for breakfast you can handle, wash down with ten cups of coffee.

Have no less than 3 of the small bags of ruffles cheddar cheese potato chips.

Have at least one PB & J a day. PB really puts on the pounds I found out.

Toss out the veggies and have lots of chocolate bars or chocolate cookies.

About 6-8 slices of bacon for breakfast with toast.

Lunch a yoghourt. Need at least one healthy snack.

For dinner eat microwavable michillenia tv dinners, or microwaveable pizza's. Thick crust, supreme style, so you get a few onions and green peppers in diet.

In two hours find more junk food to munch on.

Repeat this 7 days a week. In one month you will find you have gained 30 lbs. Of course, your heart and arteries may not be so healthy. Whistling But a can't have everything. Hilarious!

Now if I could just get rid of the 30 pounds I gained. Rolling on the floor laughing

Oh and a few cans of ravioli thrown in as they say it has lots of veggies in it. Smiling

Cold here again. What warmth we had, blew away with the wind. Going down to low freezing temps again for the next several days.

Sharon... Is it possible to get a new thread. With dial up and all the pics it hard to load. Can't run in, track up the thread and run back out. Hilarious!

Star, there is no way on earth I could ever eat like that. And if I gained 30 pounds I'd be as wide as I am tall. Whew!! Reminds me of Weeble Wobbles. Remember them? From the 70s when my children were tiny. Weebles wobble but they don't fall down, well that would be me.

I think you might be the only one on dial up, Star, and since you are here with us now, I sure can start a new thread. Lots of pictures, which we love, will bog down dial up for sure. I usually wait till we get a thousand or so posts, but I'd hate to complicate your life, so here you are, a new thread:
