Well, as there was already the green form growing here when we purchased, some 6 &1/2 yrs ago, I had to find the variegated form .. of course!
The flowers can be a paler blue, but I find them deeper & almost purple with wetter weather conditions. The gold & green foliage .. Australia's national colours .. go very well amongst my natives & other plants.

Ahhhhh, got back here just in time. This is one of my favorite plants and I have it everywhere. Actually if I didn't love it so much I would say it's invasive. It's the first to bloom in spring and I don't think there's a bug or pest alive that will hurt it. I do have the variegated, it's my favorite, and the little bluish flowers just add to the beauty of it.

I have a new computer and my photos have not been transferred from my old one yet. I'll see if I can get a picture tomorrow.

I just came in from walking Sunshine, my rescued dog . . . actually she rescued me . . . and of course the variegated vinca is not blooming now but it's growing like wild. I will get a picture later today, it borders the eastern end of my house.

I still haven't taken a picture of mine, too late for blooms but it makes a great sea of white along the edge of my house.

Smiling Sharon, you'll be able to pop some pics on to cheer me up when winter comes around again over here!
