Now, this is one you should know :) I didn't know it was classed as a weed in some of your States until I found this link sometime ago.

I have it as a ground cover in a semi-shaded & semi moist area under a white Crepe Myrtle .. pity they didn't flower at the same time. :(

I also have a tall pink variety, which over here , is harder to find available.

This is a rather close-up of the spires of flowers, showing the little individual blooms. It's a section I started growing in a pot.

It is a weed here, but I have it growing as a ground cover; beneath my wisteria. It blooms early, before the wisteria even wakes from the winter. Your picture is so pretty.

Oh, for more weeds like this variety! My tall pink one is planted/has grown in a long 'river' across a garden .. I so love both!

12mths ago .. that's it in the foreground ..
