|I love multicoloured lights too (blinking or not).
I always garden for colour (lots of colour).
Those bubble lights in the 50s did have poisonous methyl chloride in them,
but makes sense that the fire danger risk, from flames, was much greater.
Larry, great Lady Di exhibit pictures.
I'm not a monarchist and not big on "celebrityism?", but Lady Di was certainly an interesting phenomenon.
I think she was better at using the press than Charles, who obviously wasn't perfect either.
Vickie mentioned the fatal crash in Paris.
News came late at night/early in morning: hard to believe at first.
Would have been fascinating to see how the Lady Di-Palace thing would have worked out, without her death.
Don't believe the Palace-conspiracy thing at all.
To me, the nicest thing about Di was that she was, despite all the problems, a good and kind mother.
Must have missed it: loved the Tiger Toe tale.
Talk about mothers, Sharon needs to teach Sunshine and Daisy to share!
Cold here too (and damp and windy).
Still have bulb planting to do in our own garden.
Not the best weather and activity for ones joints.
