Thanks, all, about the photos. Sharon, after the exhibition leaves Davenport it will open in Cincinnati on February 14, 2014 and close August 17. That will be its last stop. After that the entire exhibition will be turned over to Diana's sons. No one knows at this point whether these items will ever be exhibited again. It's only a 4.5 hour trip to Cinci. I bet you could find some friends to go with you. It's well worth the trip. 4 hours 22 mins 299.6 mi From: Calvert City, KY To: Cincinnati, OH ![]() Clothing etc.: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Wilma: "This is as close as I'll ever get to a Versace outfit!" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The skirt is all lace. ![]() ![]() ![]() Note how the colors for these outfits have faded. The original color is in the photo in the background. ![]() ![]() Shortly before the tragic accident My photo card was full at this point, so I couldn't photograph displays having to do with Diana's death. It was a very moving section of the exhibition. Hard to leave it with dry eyes. Elton John's "Goodbye, England's Rose" (to the tune of "Candle in the Wind") played in the background.
