| official snow measurement in town is 15.8". a drift of 17" in our front yard temp 7° I could really hear the wind blowing last night gusts in the 40s. The person who plows our driveway did a couple of passes yesterday & it looked clear last night, but he came a bit after 6am & worked on it some more, so we could get out when the car is cleared off. John just went out to fill the bird feeder so something besides juncos can have some. Red bellied woodpecker was on the suet feeder this morning. they nest down in our woods (the back part of our property is wooded) but it takes the winter snow to be able to see them. |
