Debated putting this one here or in Classics. I think it is both. I grew up watching Carol Burnett and always enjoyed the show. I wish they would show it in reruns!

One of my favorite skits was when Carol made a fancy dress using the curtain with the rod inserted and all!

Hilarious! DH called me downstairs one night ~ he said "want to watch The Carol Burnett show?"

Turned out it was an infomercial. They went through a bunch of skits where Tim Conway was the boss, and she was the secretary. I don't remember the character names, but it was pretty funny.

Wasn't that the skit that was a parody of Gone With the Wind? Absolutely hilarious, for sure!

That show was great...

in those "specials" that they run from tiem to time with the entrie cst talking about how it was to do the show they all rec all how tim conway used to ad lib all the time and they would make the other actors laugh out loud. i seem to remember one about a skit with a dr or maybe it was a dentist with harvy gorman

Yes Paula, I do believe it was!

I just saw Carol Burnett on The Bonnie Hunt Show yesterday. They showed a lot of clips then too. Such a great show and a great woman too!
