Kevin Spacey. Looking for Keyser Soze. I can not say anymore because if you have not seen it any discussion will reveal too much. An all time fab. suspense thriller.

But to 'discuss' it would ruin it for those who have not seen it yet.

If you are ready to discuss it, fist make a post with a spoiler alert, letting others know that if they continue down the posts, they will read information that will ruin the movie for them if they have not seen it. Then, in the next post, start the discussion. Big Grin

Well, I watched it tonight and I think what is above is enough to "tease" a person if they should want to watch the movie right?

So...............
**************SPOILER ALERT!!*****************

If you read any further and have NOT SEEN the movie, you will read things that may well spoil the movie for you. Only read further if you have seen the movie or don't care if you hear details.

Alrighty, there are two of you here who say this is a REALLY good movie. I watch it, or part of it tonight. Now, I can handle swearing in a movie or tv show (I watch Dexter after all) but this movie had SO MUCH swearing that I was having a VERY hard time following what was going on. It may well be a good movie but I couldn't prove it by what I saw.

I am typically distracted by that too but not in this movie. So did you watch it or not? I don't understand.

I watched about 30/40 minutes of it and was so lost I gave up. I honestly couldn't tell you what the movie was about.

The swearing doesn't bother me as much as the *bleeping* out the swearing would. Honestly, I went looking for this to watch again and refresh my memory, DS took it with him when he moved out last summer. DARN! I don't remember the details very well.

If you can make it past the language, it's worth it in the end.

Fast forward the movie to about 40 (or 30 min?) minutes from the end.

Do you understand the plot? police/FBI investigating massacre and fire on a boat in port of LA:. 2 survivors; one played by K.Spacey is a small time criminal & the other survivor is an Hungarian criminal who states that Keyser Soze, the worlds most frightening criminal/killer, was onboard and killing everyone. Keyser Soze's reputation is bad beyond words & he terrifies all. Kevin Spacey's character has cerebal palsy w/ obvious physical limitations. K.Spacey character tells the police why he was on the boat that night & events that led up to that horrible night. This is where it gets very confusing because of all the flash backs & complicated narrative per Kevin Spacey's recall of the events months prior to the massacre/fire. Now this is where you want to make sure you start re-watching the movie!!
