I watched them both on our new HDTV! It took years for me to convince my husband to get a new tv. Okay, it's not huge, but 32" is much nicer than the 19" we had in the living room.

It was a really good program, especially in HD. There were these weird ants that blow air into their antennae and make them stick out from their heads, that's where their eyes were, at the end of these antennae. It was really good and Oprah did a great job narrating.

I will definitely try to remember to watch all 11 hours!

I already missed the first few. Would it make sense to watch the rest now? Or should I wait until the series is on DVD and watch from the start? When is it on? What station?

SURE! Watch what you can! It is on Sunday nights at 8:00pm on the Discovery Channel. (That's channel 38 for me)

Check out the stalk-eyed fly video, just scroll to the right under the videos. It's only 3 minutes long, it's the weirdest thing!

did anyhone see the latest on life?? the episode i saw was on irds. thee is one bird called the pirate bird. he cannot dive into the wate for fish because his feathers are not water proof and he would drown. so how does he get the fish he needs?? ther eare otehr irds who dive and get the fish and store them in their gullet. this pirate bird flies after them and harrasses (sp) until he can eithe get his beak into their mouth and steal the fish or else they get so tired of fighting him that they drop the fish over land (they are trying to get to their nests)

You need a dictator. To heck with this voting stuff.
