Anyone watching this series? It is a USA network original, about a spy who gets 'burned' (basically fired, but everything about his life is completely wiped out, so it looks like he doesn't exist).

It is an excellent show. Plenty of action!! (New episodes are run in the summer, when major networks are just showing re-runs.)

One of the best parts is Sharon Gless. She plays Michael Weston's mother (the spy who got burned). She smokes, drinks, curses, and does *not* cook!! Rolling on the floor laughing

Doesn't sound too far off from when she played Cagney! LOL I've only seen it a few times. I always forget to watch it.

Jeannie, we started watching episodes four at a time from Netflix. Great show and although I hate Gless's constant cigarette, she is terrific in that role. First time I've seen the actress who plays Fiona but I like her. Just how many seasons has this been running?

Alma, this summer was their 4th season.

I don't mind the smoking if it fits into the role of the character (which I think it does), and if it doesn't 'glorify' smoking. I suspect if this were an HBO series, she'd also be swearing up a storm!

I loved the first season of Burn Notice and agree with Alma about everything.
Sharon Gless is a major addition to the show.
I have seen Fiona on Law and Order I think. It must have been her first role.

Hmmm, I'm a L&W fan who must have missed her on that. Was it the original L&W, the one that was cancelled?
