We have just watched the first 2 episodes of this show. It was only on for the one season (20 episodes). Not a half bad show. Do any of you remember this show?
Quoting:Independent News Service reporter Carl Kolchak (Darren McGavin) investigates the supernatural in this 1970s series. Kolchak has his work cut out for him as he tracks down Jack the Ripper, aliens, zombies, werewolves, vengeful spooks, Satanic dogs and a boogeyman from the Louisiana bogs. You should! And get the Roku box (unless you have a blue ray player or something else already NetFlix compatible--more and more of the newer devices are) so you can watch the instant stuff right on your TV.

My son has a Roku box, he loves it. I was wondering how you watched instantly on your tv.. Confused

I loved, loved, loved this show! Only 1 season? Hard to believe, it was so cool.

Yep, only one season! I love my Roku box, there is more on it than just NetFlix but the NetFlix is all we use. They recently improved the NF interface and you can do searches and add shows to your queue right on the TV screen now.

when my son frank bought his large tv screen t.v. he ordered from his cable company some kind of gizmo that allows him to record programs for mnths at a time. not only that but he can program the box to record any kind of program having to do with a certain subject.

he also can pause the live program while he goes into the kitchen for a beer and when he comes back he can see what he had missed.

amazing technology

Frank, that would be what everyone keeps telling you to get--a tivo!! The roku box allows you to watch the Netflix instant stuff on your TV rather than computer.

It is a nice movie. I watched it with my husband last week. We are planning to add shows by Andy Yeatman to the list. I have heard that these shows are not only entertaining but educating as well. I want my kids to learn good things while watching something good.
